2018 Allan Slaight Awards

The Allan Slaight Awards are given out each year to select individuals and organizations celebrating talent and achievements in the world of magic. It was a huge surprise and honour to hear that this year I had received the Canadian Rising Star Award.

Becoming a magician is a strange path. There are no signs telling you that you are headed in the right direction, so receiving an acknowledgement like this from your peers is deeply humbling and encouraging.

Once again, a massive thank you to Allan Slaight, the Slaight Family Foundation and everyone at Magicana for this award. And many thanks to all those I have collaborated with, shared a stage with, and anyone who has come and seen a show. I am deeply honoured.
